The river Sava is no place for billboards, because there’s nobody there to see them. I’m advertising a river whose whole existence is reduced to nothing more than a place of crossing to the other side. I’m advertising a pause as long as the width of the river itself. Or the symbol play which continues what was stopped. (ST)
Sanja Tarandek was born in Zagreb in 1985. She finished the Vrbovec Gymnasium and undergraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, at the Department of Art Education. At the moment, she is finishing her graduate studies at the same Department, under the mentorship of prof. D. Sokić. She is a member of the art organization trip2art. She participated at the following group exhibitions: UrbanFestival, Zagreb; “Academy of Fine Arts Students’ Exhibition”, Gallery Aluminium, Mostar, BiH; “In Honour of Baroque”, 49th Poreč Annale, Istrian Assembly Hall, Poreč.
